Dress watch
Freed from his need to serve his master in a variety of ways (and quite possibly in less cordial circumstances), the dress watch is necessary to dazzle in the least extravagant way imaginable. Which means, inevitably, that the trick lies in its details, including the choice of metal used in the box and, if applicable, the bracelet, as well as the overall elegance of its design.
It is the last consideration that generally differentiates a quality dress watch and that will follow in broad outline the history of the watch's design itself: round, gold, high-gloss black leather strap; square or rectangular, white gold or steel on patent leather strap or matching bracelet, or some modernist analogy.
Like these, we have:

E609 MINIERA D'ORO BRUSSON
